Director

Songcan Chen(陈松灿), received his B.S. degree in mathematics from Hangzhou University (now merged into Zhejiang University) in 1983. In December. 1985, he completed his M.S. degree in computer applications at Shanghai Jiaotong University and then worked at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (NUAA) in January 1986 as an assistant lecturer. There he received a Ph.D. degree, in 1997, in communication and information systems. Since 1998, as a full-time professor, he has been with the computer science and engineering department at NUAA. His research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning and neural computing. In these fields, he has authored or coauthored over 130 scientific journal papers. s.chen@nuaa.edu.cn

Faculty

• Daoqiang Zhang(张道强). Daoqiang received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China, in 1999 and 2004, respectively. He joined NUAA as a Lecturer in 2004, and is an associate professor at present. His research interests include machine learning, pattern recognition, data mining, and image processing.   Xiaoyang Tan(谭晓阳). XTAN received his B.S. and M.S. degree in computer applications from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) in 1993 and 1996, respectively. Then he worked in NUAA from June 1996.. x.tan@nuaa.edu.cn

  Xuejun Liu（刘学军）. Xuejun gained her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Manchester in 2006. She is now a lecture in the College of Information Science and Technology in Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Her main interest is machine learing algorithms based on probabilistic methods with current applications in bioinformatics.. xuejun.liu@nuaa.edu.cn

  Jun Liu(刘俊). Jun Liu received his B.S. degree in computer science from Nantong Institute of  Technology  in 2002. He received Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2007. He joined the computer science department of NUAA in 2006.. j.liu@nuaa.edu.cn
